There is a thriving church community, and about 45 people are church attendees, although the average service would be between 20 and 25 people for a morning Eucharist. About two thirds of the congregation are aged 50+ and are retired or semi-retired; although occasionally a few younger mothers attend with their children.
Attendance at Festivals is usually quite good when the numbers of the congregation swell to 50+. Our own Festival Choir (made up of choristers from the parishes) sings at these festivals.
Weddings average ½ per year, Baptisms 3, and Funerals less that 1.
There is no service on the first Sunday of the month, but there is a full Eucharist at 10.30 am on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays; if there is a 5th Sunday in the month there is a benefice service in Kineton. There is a wealth of valuable experience in running/assisting services; for 18 months the PCC ran lay-led services. There are several parishioners who are willing to read, lead Intercessions and assist at the altar in administering the Sacrament. At the end of the service on the 3rd Sunday of the month the parishioners enjoy an informal coffee and biscuits with drinks for children. The village has a small, active Methodist Chapel.
