Mission Companionship Links
Companionship Links formed in 2000 brings together Coventry, Jerusalem and Kaduna (Nigeria). Details can be found on the website Companionship Links.
Ann and Jim Saxton visited Kaduna Nigeria in January/February 2009, they were following up actions agreed with Bishop Josiah in 2008 which comprised:
- Review primary schools and assess early learning especially language through play.
- Run a workshop for teachers in how to teach language through play in early years.
- Review the water well progress, and agree with well committee a new way forward. This reduced the cost of wells by 50% at new cost of £500.
- Train clergy in internet and emails.
- Train selected group on the maintenance on the Kaduna diocese website
- Develope new and train St. Michael's College website.
- Help assess via the Health Committee and visit into proposed location the proposed new clinic.
- Meet with the newly formed Kaduna Links Committee and agree a way forward to improve the link between Kaduna and Coventry dioceses.
